Can you PLEASE, PLEASE have a quiet word with someone in RHCP’s press dept to put out a statement confirming or denying your role? Because, my god, I’m getting so much abuse in my mail box and phone. Yes, John Frusciante has left Red Hot Chili Peppers. So, I’ve been hearing this for days. So, as you all know, I totally spilled my guts yesterday, getting everything out of my head and onto the screen. Worrying about how I feel about my pregnancy etc. Not even the news that Steve Jobs’ liver transplant isn’t working so well and that he might be another hit on my deathlist for this year can raise a minor smile. So, I’ve had this acquaintance for a for years. We were briefly in the same line of work. We got to know each other, and even though we were poles apart in everything we do, I thought we’d actually become friends. Ted Kennedy has passed away. A hero to many in American politics, his passing will not be mourned by too many in the UK. As a supporter of the Irish Republican movement and by extension the IRA – who terrorised the UK and Ireland for decades – he publicly raised money for and the profile [...] The recent release from prison of Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed Al Megrahi, the only man convicted of the bombing of the Pan Am flight that killed 270 people has caused uproar, with many Americans vowing never to visit Scotland ever ever again. [Cue Scotland's sigh of relief...] So let’s recap the last 12 months. |
