I’m French Canadian. I may have mentioned that at some point. I was brought up to speak French in Montreal, by a Radio (and later Television) Newscaster, originally from Winnipeg. We lived in Toronto a while, but always came back to Montreal. I don’t consciously remember when I learned to speak English.
